Morocco Itinerary : 6 Days Tour from Fes
Depending on your arrival time and the likelihood of making first contact with the city, we will either pick you up at the airport or take you to the hotel on the first day of our 6-day desert journey from Fes to Merzouga.
A whole day spent learning about the smartest city in the kingdom. There are numerous monuments that you are able to see: In Medersas (Koranic Schools): Bouinania Attarin, Chahrij. The Karaouine Mosque, Fes El-Jedid, and the Souks (the world’s first university).
We will begin our third day on a 6 Fes Desert tour to Merzouga, Sahara, after breakfast, traveling via Ifrane to Merzouga. We’ll traverse the Cedar Forest to reach Tafilalte and the Ziz Valley. We will ride camels to the Merzouga desert camp in the afternoon and spend the night beneath a nomadic tent. Dinner and sleeping arrangements in the tents.
The desert is already where you are! Savoring the enchantment of the dunes Following our early morning admiration of the stunning sunrise image in the dunes, we ride the 4 x 4 back to the hotel where we meet these lands: the flamenco-filled Dayet Srji lake, and the home of a family of Gnawa or Bambara musicians, who are descended from slaves who came from Black Africa and will enchant us with their traditional music. We will encounter some semi-nomadic families that make their way across the sea of sand and stone as we enter the dunes where the Paris–Dakar pass passes. An authentic journey! We’ll head back to the hotel in the afternoon to spend the night.
After breakfast, travel via Rissani, the former Moroccan economic center, to Fes. We will go in the direction of the Ziz Valley, traveling through Tafilalet and taking in the expansive vistas of the Gorges and Palmerales. After arriving to AZROU, we will take in the breathtaking views of the Middle Atlas and the Forest of the Cedars, as well as the mandatory stop to observe the free-living monkeys. After that, we’ll go through IFRANE, sometimes referred to as “Moroccan Switzerland,” and arrive in Fez in the afternoon. That concludes our second to last day of a 6 desert trek from Fes to Merzouga.
Our 6-day Fes desert excursion to Merzouga comes to a close with the agreed-upon transfer to the Fez airport.

But generally speaking, Morocco is a stunning country to travel through without any worries!
Although the majority of residents will consume tap water, tourists are advised to stay away from it. Use a reusable water bottle with a filter system to stay hydrated, or buy a big bottle that you can fill up while traveling.
Morocco is loved for its incredibly diverse experiences and sensory delights. One moment, you can be experiencing sunrise on a camel in the Sahara Desert, the next enjoying a delicious tagine on a rooftop in Marrakesh, or wandering the blue streets of Chefchaouen. Morocco has it all!
